I design it, build it, deploy it, and keep it running. Same person, start to finish.
I'm Taleeha Tahoor, a full-stack engineer. I design, build, and deploy software, and then I run the servers it lives on.
Most people hand a project off in pieces: one person designs, another codes, someone else deploys, and no one owns the whole thing. I own the whole thing. From the first architecture decision to the 3 a.m. it stays online, it's the same person: me.
That's the point. Nothing gets lost in the handoff, because there is no handoff.
What drives me
Everyone can get software to “works on my machine.” I care about the part after that, the part where real users, real load, and real bad days show up.
Launch isn't the finish line for me. It's where the honest work starts. I like the moment the demo is over and the thing has to earn its keep in production: stay fast, stay up, recover cleanly when something fails. That's where most projects quietly fall apart, and it's the part I refuse to leave to luck.
I'd rather build something boring that runs for years than something clever that needs me on call forever.
How I work with clients
I don't hide the trade-offs
Before I build, I put the options on the table (build it or buy it, now or later, cheap or durable) and we decide together. You always know why something was built the way it was.
I work in the open
You see working software early and often, not one big reveal at the end. If we're heading the wrong way, we find out in week one, not month three.
I build things to last
Whoever designs a system should be accountable for keeping it alive. I structure every codebase, and run every server, as if I'll still be responsible for it in two years. Because I usually am.
