The problem

A growing courier company ran everything on spreadsheets and manual notes. There was no single place to book a parcel, print its label, move it through the warehouse, assign a rider, collect cash, and bill the merchant, and customers had no way to track their orders.

My role

Built the whole platform: staff dashboard, warehouse scanning, delivery and payment tracking, billing, merchant tools, and the public tracking website.

What it does

  • One journey, fully tracked: every parcel gets a tracking number and barcode label, and each step (picked up, in warehouse, out for delivery, delivered, returned) is timestamped.
  • A view for everyone: warehouse, finance, sales, support, and merchants each see only what they need.
  • Fewer mistakes: scanning a parcel at the wrong warehouse triggers an instant alert.
  • Less manual work: online store orders flow in automatically, ready to ship.
  • Customers stay informed: a public page lets anyone track their parcel live.

The hard part

Showing one accurate story of each parcel, even when it passes through several warehouses and many hand-offs, and keeping that timeline correct and trustworthy for staff, merchants, and customers alike.

Outcome

A live platform running the company's daily operations in one place: booking, labels, warehouse scanning, rider assignment, cash collection, billing, and reporting. It replaced a slow, error-prone process with one dependable system that scales.
